I have an MD801 but I cannot get it to work with a 2004 Mercedes Vito 115CDI (W639). I understand (very dissapointingly) you are not providing updates but this model was out long before I purchased my MD801. If there is no update to fix this will one of the other Mercedes cars listed on the MD801 work to connect with the Vito?

If I try and connect in OBDII/OBD mode the engine cuts out while it is trying to establish a link. It does not connect with or without the engine running.

I am not sure I understand "the engine cuts out."

Reply to 4 floor: While the tool is scanning the ports the engine stops.

MD801 only retrieve the codes in vehicle ECU, but it can't send bi-directional command to stop the engine. Just a guess. Maybe something is wrong with your engine.
